Joe has been treating in the Iowa City area for over thirteen years and founded Team Iowa in March, 2017. He graduated from the University of Iowa Doctor of Physical Therapy program where he is currently an adjunct faculty member. Joe is a Certified Manual Physical Therapist (1.5 year training after DPT degree) and has also completed certifications as a Functional Movement Specialist and ASTYM Soft Tissue Injury Specialist. He is also active in the American Physical Therapy Association Private Practice Section as a member and advocate for our profession. Joe loves spending time with his family and has three children with his wife, Annalise: Eliana, Ann-Marie and Simon. In his free time, Joe enjoys biking, playing music, playing sports with his children, lifting weights, volunteering in his kids’ classrooms, and collecting baseball memorabilia.

Annalise is the head of marketing, advertising, charitable giving, staff appreciation, branding and design. She is also the curator of Team Iowa’s social media content. Prior to Team Iowa, Annalise was an elementary teacher. She taught a variety of grades in her 9 years of teaching. Annalise enjoys spending time with her family: her husband Joe, and her children: Eliana, Ann-Marie and Simon, as well as her amazing friends. She also enjoys being outdoors, traveling and cooking.

Kim is originally from Ames, Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. Since then, she has worked at Team Iowa PT. She is certified in integrative dry needling and she is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She additionally works as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Iowa. In her free time, Kim enjoys teaching barre classes in Iowa City and spending time with her husband, two daughters, and their dog.

Born and raised in Iowa, Matt Hrvol, PT, DPT, CSCS, CPS graduated from the University of Iowa’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2016. After graduating, Matt spent his initial years as an orthopedic and sports physical therapist in Chicago where he completed extensive coursework in Myofascial Taping, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and Myofascial Cupping. He holds certifications in Dry Needling, advanced musculoskeletal assessment, olympic lifting and crossfit. Matt is also a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and enjoys working with athletes, bodybuilders, powerlifters and crossfitters. In his free time, Matt enjoys weightlifting, world-traveling, collecting rare bourbons and being a dog dad.

Emily Dunn, PT, DPT graduated from the University of Iowa Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2019. Since starting at Team Iowa she has enjoyed working with individuals of all ages to help them meet their goals and get back to the activities they love! She is certified in Functional Gait Assessment and has additional training focused on return to run programming. Emily enjoys spending her time outdoors golfing, skiing, and hiking, as well as spending time with her husband, Kyle, her son and their golden retriever, Murphy.

PAOLO MARILIM
Physical Therapist 

Paolo Marilim PT, DPT, CPS, TPI is originally from Clinton, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate degree in Health and Human Physiology from the University of Iowa, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Paolo was drawn to Team Iowa for its family feel, and he enjoys the opportunity this unique clinic provides in helping people get back to the activities they love. In his free time, Paolo likes golfing, playing tennis, and spending time with his family and friends.

KAYLI TOROK  
Physical Therapist

Kayli Torok, PT, DPT is originally from Toledo, Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Kentucky. She earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa in 2022 and following this, became certified in Integrative Dry Needling. Kayli was drawn to Team Iowa for the clinic community and the opportunity to work one on one with patients while helping them achieve their goals. In her free time, Kayli enjoys spending time with friends and family, training for triathlons, and traveling.

Mack Stolley, PT, DPT graduated from Creighton University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2023. He completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and Health: Pre-Physical Therapy at Iowa State University in 2019. Mack is certified in Integrative Dry Needling. Mack is homegrown here in Iowa City where he attended Iowa City High School. He is excited to give back to his hometown and community. Mack enjoys working with different local high schools and their sport teams on injury prevention strategies for their student athletes. He also enjoys working with other athletes and weekend warriors of all levels. Mack enjoys spending his time outside the clinic weightlifting, getting together with friends and family, and anything sports related.

Rachel Tebbe, PT, DPT graduated from the University of Iowa Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2023. In 2021, she graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Health and Human Physiology. Rachel is originally from Bettendorf, Iowa. She was drawn to Team Iowa due to the warm and welcoming environment that she was a part of as a PT Technician. Now as a PT, she is interested in working with people of all ages but especially weekend warriors and the older population. In her free time, Rachel enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, baking, and reading.

Jayne Nelson joined Team Iowa Physical Therapy in 2019 after 9 years of experience in healthcare human resources and retail management. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2010 and began her career in leadership and HR. In 2016, Jayne moved to Iowa City to live closer to her family. In her free time, Jayne enjoys spending time with her family and teaching yoga.

MEAGAN SMITH 
Office Manager

Meagan graduated from The University of Iowa with a BA in Exercise Science in May 2020. She grew up in Kansas City, MO and moved to the Iowa City area in 2016 for school. After graduating, she married her husband Jarod. Meagan and Jarod now live in North Liberty, where they enjoy exploring new restaurants and going on walks with their chocolate lab Bailey. In her free time Meagan enjoys golfing, hosting friends and family, and cooking.

LINDSEY FARRISEY
Patient Coordinator
Lindsey is originally from Carpentersville, Illinois and completed her undergraduate degree in Sport and Recreation Management, as well as a certification in Interscholastic Athletic/Activities Administration, from the University of Iowa in May of 2021. Lindsey is also the Director of Basketball Operations for the City High Girls Basketball team. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends, traveling home to Illinois and playing with her dog, Enzo.
